Welcome back to Newanz.com,

Today, the second of June 2008, Tom de Bruijn, Owner of Newanz.com, turned 18 years old. Meaning he is an adult now. We are all very happy for him and we hope he will have a great day! This can also mean great future plans for Newanz, like becoming a business.

So what else is new?

We at Newanz released a new feature for the website: NDC, Newanz Development Center.
Although no project/application page has been published we still want to show it. At http://ndc.newanz.com/ you will get the login form to NDC. You first have to register and be approved then you will be able to see the content.

What is NDC?

Well it will help us, Newanz, develop applications better. It has an inbuild bug report system in the comment system. We hope people will report any bugs they find through this application.

Update We added an application page to the website, it can be Newanz Development Center.

Within sometime we like to release EPT3 and some other updates for NewsOffice and NDC.

Thank you for reading,

Newanz Staff

We are almost done - update

It has been quite for a long time now on Newanz. Some projects have been added, some not even uploaded.
But this is all in the preparation of the release of NewsOffice 1.2 RC1.
This version will hopefully be released on Wednesday the 21th of May. Yes that is tomorrow. We cannot give you a time of release, but it will probably be Dutch local time; somewhere late in the evening.

We are making the final changes to the websites and documentation. We are doing a final test for PHP4 compatibility and then we will release it.

This version is not a whole product; most of its planned features are missing and will be added only in version RC2 or above.
If you find any bugs, missing features that have not been listed, please inform us using the contact form or the NewsOffice topics on the Newanz forums.

Update In the wait of the arrival of NewsOffice 1.2 RC1. We now have released our updated Terms of Use for Applications. You can find it here: Terms of Use for Applications.

Thank you for reading,

Tom de Bruijn

NewsOffice RC1 development

Another day in paradise. We are currently in the final stages of the development of NewsOffice 1.2.
We are planning on releasing the first RC (Release candidate) very soon, a news post will be made and the application page updates. The automatic updater will see there is a new version. Only viewable when a you click on Check for updates, in your installation.

The Release candidate will feature some new extra's and updated most of the core code of NewsOffice. We are quite happy so far with the progress, but the RC will not contain all new features. This is the reason why it's a RC and not a full version. More updates will follow in the full version, but to satisfy a number of people and hopefully getting some feedback on the RC we can later on release a good full version.

The RC will be avaliable to anyone, but under the Terms of Use for Applications, as always!

Further more, an update for our Every Page Technology system EPT3 is also beeing developt. This will be version 3.1, containing more security and maybe some javascripts we learned Wink

A new style is also underway, not very much to tell about it, but it will really look nice Laughing

We will inform again soon on our progress.

Thanks for reading,

Newanz Staff
