NewsOffice

NewsOffice is almost done. I just need to update the website to the new version.
I have to say: it's not done, the website and NewsOffice.

Manuals, documentation it's all not done, but I decided to release it without them. Manuals will only be inside the application itself and maybe added later on to the website itself. But I took this liberty all in the name of a Beta version.

EPT 5

Yeah I can surely say it's coming, Flamer was right, but unfortunatly a whole lot sooner than I hoped. The database we are using now is becoming a bit full...

So we are going to re-write it on top of the new database I am building right now, some hick-ups there.

More on the release of NewsOffice and EPT 5.

A blog post has been made, to follow updates on EPT 5 go to this topic.

Thank you for reading,

"Please Login or Register to place your comment"...Login link isnt working.
Tom de Bruijn, Nov 11th, 2008 at 20:30:11
lol, it does work.. if you look at the url it points to #login, or something

which is a header to the user dock on your left Wink

maybe I will put it on the list to make a seperate login window

It’s nice to see that you're almost finished! Good luck with EPT 5!
Tom de Bruijn, Nov 12th, 2008 at 13:32:06
Yeah almost done, maybe a release this weekend?

And thanks I will need all the luck I can get, I know I sure will have a lot to do XD

I might start a topic where I will keep updates on what has to be made an what's done etc.
Flamer, Nov 12th, 2008 at 15:23:24
Tom! When im not logged on and i press the Login link your userdock wont appear on screen. It doesnt change anything on screen. Im using FF3.0.3. Also ive found that this comment box is way to little (like 100px width).
Screen can be found on http://www.lydic.nl/afbeeldingen/newanz.jpg
Tom de Bruijn, Nov 12th, 2008 at 15:46:35
I know of the comment box, I will quote it from this page: EPT 4
Apparently Internet Explorer 6 makes the comment box really small in the item viewer.
But this counts for FF aswell then Sad

The login thing should work, just try: http://newanz.com/#login
same priciple.

/edit: I am glad you both are so eager to share you found bugs xD
NiCkYsTyLe, Nov 12th, 2008 at 22:09:28
I have seen that bug also. Its quit annoying, maybe with EPT5 you can try to fix it?
Tom de Bruijn, Nov 12th, 2008 at 22:48:15
yeah yeah.. I know XD
give it some time

maybe i will fix it in EPT 4.0.6 if I will ever get that done like I want.
