Description
Another try at our CMS that allows you to work on your webhost online.

Content

This application is currently in development. You can not download this software yet. This page is constantly updated when new functions are added.
A word from the developers
We appriaciate it when you would like to help us with new idea's for this application. Contact us throught the Contact form or Forums/comment system.

We got some information about Shore. While building Shore we found out we did to much at the same time so we have split it up into two sections. The file manager section, the most important part of Shore, and the user section. The user section requires a lot of work, but we don't know exactly where what should be. Meaning, we can only build it when the rest is done.

Plans?
First we are going to complete build the file manager (and maybe the to-do list or the email system) and then the user system. After the file manager is done, we will send it to our testers while building another section.

The CMS, Content Management System, of Newanz. Two times already it has been tried to create it, but everytime there has been another hold up. Why? More and more setbacks due lack of knowledge and server problems have delayed the project so far we had to stop it twice.

But that’s for the history behind this application. Now for hopefully the last time we are tying to create it.
What is Shore?
Shore is a project name, we have no official name for the final release of this application. It will probably be named when we are done with development.

Features

What will Shore bring you?
Shore is a php and MySql based application build to online edit files on a website. Through php and an ftp connection the requested files and folders will be showed. You will be able to edit your files online, secured, with a backup system and more

What will the total package of Shore be?
  • File manager
    • This file manager uses an ftp connection to contact your website. This connection will allow you to edit your files. What can you do with the files and directories?
      • Create
      • Edit
      • Delete
      • Copy
      • Rename
      • Move
      • Upload
      • Download
    • Backup function for a x number of files
  • User system
    • Personal profile
    • Groups, with different permissions.

Future extra's

  • NewsOffice integration
    • The popular NewsOffice will be able to work along side Shore, but will not be avaliable in the first release.
  • Email read system
    • The idea came from the need here at Newanz and might be placed in a future release. You wil be able to read any emails send to you through a contact form on which you placed a small php code.
  • To-Do list
    • A To-Do list system will allow you to create detailed lists.
  • Settings
    • A detailed section where you can change your settings, making the system fit your needs.

Shore is the next project in line of ProDSys and SiteDev.
