A CMS that allows you to work on your webhost without having to log into your ftp connection.

SiteDev, named from: Site Development System, is a system that allows you to edit your website without having to set up a ftp connection with your webhost.
This is usefull when the ftp protocol is blocked on the internet connection you are using, but also when you want to make quick changes to your website.

The system is mostly based on an unfinished application of Newanz called ProDSys, Product Development System, but we were to busy finnish it. Now some time later we finally got time to build it and we decided to start all over again to improve the whole system.
While building SiteDev, Newanz was also building NewsOffice. This system allows you to post news on your website. During developent we kept an eye on the system of NewsOffice and made some adjustments to let the two systems to work together.

Below are some features you have when using SiteDev, as you can see most of them are the same what you can do with a ftp program.

• See all your files on your website and go through them using a Windows like explorer.

• Backup function for the editor (1 file in cache), just in case you change your mind
