Description
Make a nice Dark Green Website Logo that suits nice with any dark green template.

Content

Note: This tutorial is originally from Uturn-Zone.nl, which is the previous location of this website. This means Uturn-Zone.nl example's will be used.

This is my fourth tutorial. This tutorial is about making an unique green website logo.

Final Result at the end of this tutorial will be: Click Here (just an example)

1. I began with making a new PSD file (Ctrl+N) .
I made it with a width of 700pixels and height of 150pixels .
You don't have to follow the sizes, just change it to fit your needs. Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/1.png

2. Let's start with calling layer one: " underground ". This will become the green underground of the logo.
3. Now reset your frontcolor and backcolor by pressing D.
4. Go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds and after that go to Filter -> Render -> Different Clouds .
Now this doesn't really looks like the example I gave you so: next step.
5. Now we are going to add motion blur to it. Go to Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur and add these settings: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/2.png
(Picture might be off a little)
This gave me the best outcome for the design, feel free to change some of the angle and distance, but not too much.

6. Let's add the color. Go to Image
-> Adjustments -> Hue and Saturation or Ctrl + U
Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/3.png

Now we got some "moving" clouds that are green. But we want the unique layout. We will continue now.
7. Open up Filter -> Stylize -> Glowing Edges which will make the edges some effects.
Add the following settings: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/4.png

Now if it all went correctly you will have something like this: Click Here.
Nice he? ok let's continue.

Next thing up is making the right uper dark corner.
8.
Pick the Gradient Tool from the toolbox. Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/6.png and add these settings: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/7.png
9. Now make a line like this in the logo, starting on top: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/8.png
Result: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/9.png

10. Now to lighten the whole logo make a new layer and call it " Lighten ".
11. Fill the Layer with "White" and add the layerstyle " Overlay " to it like this: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/10.png
Now we got ourselfs a nice logo. If you want to know how the text on it is made continue to step 11, else go to the end of the page.

To make an exact same text: use this font.
11. In the upper right corner make a selection with the horizontal type tool .Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/10_1.png
12. Type your websites name into it.
13. Right click on the text layer and go to Blending Options , then add the following settings to it:
Bevel and Emboss: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/11.png
Satin: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/12.png
Gradient Overlay: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/13.png
Color left = #022700
Color right = #0cff00

Stroke: Image from: http://newanz.com/data/images/content/items/4/14.png
Color = #108400

and you're done!
To add more text to it, repeat step 11 to 13.

Finished!

But now you will have something like this: Final Result
This was my first outcome: Final Result

I hope you had fun using my tutorial, I sure had, got any comments?
