The Newanz Developent Center is an application which allows everyone, with the right permissions, to create items, disussions, comments or other. The goal of the application is to allow people to make a bug report much much faster than is avaliable now. Visitors can also get help very fast when they have a problem with an application made by Newanz. This way we want to improve our visitors and developers. We are seeing NDC as a test balloon for future database applications. If this works and we understand how to create a database structure correctly we might just build something forum like, maybe to replace the forums we currently have. So this whole application is a trial for database applications, it could mean we set the website in a database, now we are using a flat file structure EPT3. This application is an application currently used only by Newanz.
Meaning it will not be released (yet) for public use. A feature set, or something like it, is included in NDC itself (link below), because we are making very small changes and it's easier to manage it from NDC (online). No commentsNo comments placed yet, be the first! |
